Where would we be without our best friends? A true friend can be counted on to love us, laugh with us and support us in the good times and the bad.
So today, on International Best Friends Day, I'd like to say a massive thank you to all of my buddies for being there with me through thick and thin.
To celebrate International Best Friends Day, here are some of my favourite quotes about friendship (I've thrown in a few of my own nuggets of wisdom too):
The only way to have a friend is to be one.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
Friendship isn't a big thing, it's a million little things.
There are friends, there is family, and then there are friends who become family.
Anything is possible when you have the right people there to support you.
How beautiful it is to find someone who asks for nothing but your company.
True friends are never apart, maybe in distance, but never in heart.
A friend is one who overlooks your broken fences and admires the flowers in your garden.
A good friend is like a four-leaf clover: Hard to find but lucky to have.
Find a weirdo just like you and never let them go!
Things are never quite as scary when you've got a best friend.
A day without a friend is like a cup without a single drop of tea.
There's nothing better than a friend, unless it's a friend with a cup of tea.
Friendship and tea will hold the world together.
